My name is Sarah and I am a counsellor based in Church Crookham. I specialise in working with young people aged 11 to 25, and I also support adults who may be experiencing challenges or difficulties in their lives.
Most of us go through periods where life feels overwhelming, leaving us feeling anxious, stressed or unsure of how to move forward. You may be struggling with addiction, substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or other difficulties that feel hard to manage alone. I work with you to better understand your experiences and support you in finding a positive way forward.
I offer counselling services from my practice in Church Crookham and work with clients across Hampshire, Surrey and the surrounding areas.
I provide support for a range of issues, including addiction, anxiety, depression and trauma, helping clients develop greater resilience, self-understanding and confidence to move forward in their lives.
We will be working together in a private room in a quiet location in Crookham Village, Hampshire with ample free parking available.
WHY COUNSELLING?
Do you find yourself saying “I’m fine” or “I'm good, thank you” when somebody asks how you are but, in truth, you are struggling? Do you feel the need to put on a mask around others because you are worried about them seeing how you really feel. Maybe you find yourself pushing difficult emotions down or try to dissociate from them altogether.
People's lives have become increasingly busy and overwhelming.
Sometimes, we will feel that we don’t want to burden others with our own struggles. We tell ourselves that they already have enough going on in their own lives and, as a result, we sometimes try to deal with things ourselves or, possibly, turn towards unhealthy ways of coping.
Counselling is about you and it gives you an opportunity to be truly listened to and heard. It offers you a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore the challenges you may be struggling with and help you to make sense of them.
My services as a counsellor are now available to those in Church Crookham, Hampshire, Surrey and the surrounding areas who could benefit from my support.
My practice is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and inclusive.

FEES
- In-Person: £60.00 per session
- Online and Telephone Counselling: £60.00 per session
I offer concessions to trainee counsellors and university students.
My services as an adult counsellor and young people counsellor have already helped numerous clients from Church Crookham, Hampshire, Surrey and the surrounding areas. These services are now available to help you. While I am very much a specialist in child and young adult counselling, I always do my very best to work with you and to help in managing your feelings.
